Mike is a co-founder of Econic Technologies and co-inventor of Econic’s catalysts. He has led the development of Econic’s technology for over 10 years, from concept to implementation. He is an inventor on more than 70 granted patents. He has held personal postdoctoral fellowships from AXA and EPSRC at Imperial College London and completed his PhD thesis at Imperial College in the area of catalysts for CO2 epoxide co-polymerisation.

Jill’s extensive leadership experience has been developed across multiple industries, including the chemical industry at Univar, with roles in supply chain management, engineering working processes and customer and supplier business relationship management. Jill joined the leadership team to design develop and establish cost-optimised business processes that will deliver results driven by exceptional customer service.

Rob has a track record of delivering growth and building businesses with experience across chemicals, technology, retail, supply chain & trading. He has spent 20 years in different finance roles in Shell, including in Chemicals and Venturing, and has subsequently held CFO roles in the Middle East and UK.

Charlotte is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford, and is also Econic’s CSO. Her research interests are in the area of catalysis and polymer chemistry, including polymerization catalysts, CO2 activation and the catalytic valorisation of renewable resources.

Keith Wiggins is the CEO of Econic Technologies, a deep tech company focused on catalyst technology for renewable carbon. An accomplished senior leader, Keith joined Econic in 2021, bringing over 35 years of experience in the materials science sector and related industries.

Jeroen Bolk is the Chief Engineering & Start-Up Officer at Econic Technologies, where he leads scale-up and engineering strategy for deploying Econic’s renewable carbon catalyst technology into commercial assets. Jeroen brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in chemical engineering, operations, and technology development.

Robin Gibson is the Chief Commercial Officer at Econic Technologies and brings over 35 years of experience in the global chemical industry. With P&L responsibility, he has successfully led businesses, commercial and people development at all scales from multinational companies to his own startup delivering low-carbon cements.

As Managing Director for Taranis Carbon Ventures, David leads investments in carbon circularity, leveraging 25 years of expertise in management and consultancy roles, with a focus on sustainable innovation. Before joining Taranis, David was a partner at E-CUBE Strategy Consultants, a Paris-based strategy consulting boutique focused on energy and decarbonization, where he advised corporations on sustainable innovation and investments.

Mark has over 20 years of investment, debt and advisory experience across Europe and North America. Within ING, Mark is responsible for Sustainable Investments and provides risk bearing capital to sustainable scale-ups active in Energy Transition and Circular Economy. Prior to Sustainable Investments, Mark covered for nearly a decade the Benelux at ING Corporate Investments and in this capacity held various observer/board positions.

Min is the Co-founder and CEO of CM Venture Capital, a shanghai-based venture capital company focused on new materials, advanced manufacturing, digital industrial, energy and environment. CM Funds are backed by leading multinational companies including GE, Samsung, BASF, SABIC, Heraeus, Petronas, etc.

As Chief Strategy Officer for OGCI Climate Investments, Matthew is responsible for developing the strategy of OGCI and measuring progress toward our vision of GHG reduction. Matthew’s career in Energy and Climate has spanned 30 years of working in Strategy, Sustainability and Operational roles across the value chain.

Rob van der Meij is Managing Partner at Capricorn Partners, responsible for the Cleantech venture capital activities. The first 20 years of his career he worked in business management positions with Akzo Nobel and Shell Chemicals, as well as strategy consulting at Gemini Consulting.
