Wessel van Horzen is an investment professional with a strong technical background, currently working at ING Sustainable Investments. At ING, Wessel focuses on financing innovative and sustainable businesses, supporting the growth of companies advancing the energy transition—including Econic Technologies. Prior to joining ING, Wessel spent over 20 years in process engineering and operational roles, gaining hands-on experience optimizing industrial processes and leading process teams on large scale projects at McDermott. Wessel brings a unique perspective that bridges deep process expertise with strategic investment insight, and is passionate about accelerating the shift to a circular, low-carbon economy.
