Econic’s catalyst and energy-efficient process let manufacturers use CO2 as a raw material in place of fossil-based epoxides, producing polycarbonate ether (PCE) polyols with up to 30% lower CO2-eq. emissions than traditional polyether polyols, at up to 100% replacement of traditional polyether materials in flexible foam.
