The UK-based company is expanding its operations to China in line with its ambition to become a global supplier of a patented process and unique catalyst that allows materials and chemicals manufacturers to replace fossil-based feedstocks with captured carbon.
The move also cements Econic Technologies within the growing green tech revolution in China. The Chinese economy is a global powerhouse, increasingly driven by innovation and the demand for more sustainable, high-performing products around the world. Econic’s technology, which enables polyol and surfactant producers to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of these chemistries, offers manufacturers in the country a compelling solution for reducing emissions, establishing local supply chains for renewable carbon, and meeting ambitious climate targets.
