Econic’s Commercial Lead Liz Manning was recognized by the Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) with the Dr. Herman Stone Technical Excellence Award for her presentation “Update: CO2 -Based Polyols for Polyurethane Applications”.
Manning gave the presentation at the PFA Annual Spring meeting. Her update included a review of the Econic process for manufacturing polyols with renewable carbon. She also showed how slabstock and viscoelastic foams based on Econic’s technology demonstrated improved performance characteristics and better sustainability claims based on a recent life cycle assessment.
