Recreaire delivers a strategic advantage

Recreaire is a new platform technology (i.e., a family of carbonate ethoxylate surfactants) based on carbon dioxide rather than fossil-based and oleo-based carbon.

They can deliver both workhorse surfactants and tailored molecules. This includes fatty alcohol ethoxylate (FAE) alternatives and other ethoxylated surfactants such as ethoxy sulfates.

Incorporating CO2 into surfactants adds new properties to the molecules, bringing unique benefits to a wide range of products and applications.

Recreaire technology is compatible with a broad set of nonionic, anionic, and cationic formulations. They are liquid surfactants with excellent handling properties.

A flexible platform technology

Recreaire carbonate ethoxylate surfactants are versatile ingredients that help control foam, improve wetting, and support emulsification, dispersion, and solubilization in a wide range of products.
These carbonate ethoxylates can be tuned to include up to 45% of CO2 by weight, offering flexibility in performance and sustainability.
Suitable for use in paints and coatings, industrial and institutional cleaners, personal care products, agricultural formulations, metalworking fluids, and lubricants.
Recreaire carbonate ethoxylate surfactants are stable under different conditions and work well with other common surfactant types, including anionic and cationic.
They are odorless or low odor and can be used in clear formulations, making them easy to incorporate into new or existing products.
